As I mentioned earlier, the circle of my interests is not limited only to jewelry making. For some time, I explore the secrets of decorating items by decoupage technique. I would like to present on this page some works made with using of decoupage.
This vase was made with ... the sauce jar . :) After consumption of sauce I scrupulously cleaned glass object beacuse I have decided to do something with it. I just had some cream paint and a napkin with a charming angels theme, so I didn't have to look very far for inspiration. I cut out the suitable theme (or rather I've lightly soaked with water , and then just tore edges ) . Previously, of course, I've covered the jar with a layer of primer (then the paint has gained a better adhesion to the substrate ) and I was waiting until the layer of prime dries . My next step was painting the vase with several layers of acrylic paint (after each layer , of course, I had to wait for it to dry). Later I used a brush to spread with glue a relevant surface of jar. Then I did gently the same with a napkin. At this moment I just could put the theme on a jar. The last thing was applying several layers of lacquer ( between successive layers I had to wait until the previous dries ) and voilà! The vase was finished. I gave it to as a gift to a real hothead of all kinds of angels.

Pack of sweets in the shape of doll that was embellished by me. First of all, I painted the whole doll in red. An exception only was the face. I left it unchanged. Later I put several layers of paint in red, previously using of course primer to improve the application of the paint to the substrate. Then I applied some primer on surface and on parts of napkin (in the shape of a heart). I put a napkin in the desired location. In the middle of first heart I put another one. Finally I painted whole work of several layers of protective varnish. Then my work was already protected from harmful external factors. This adorned matryoshka may have already been donated as a gift for a person who loves this kind of dolls :)

Just when I saw this mug, I knew that it must be mine! I love all things with vertical stripes theme so I bought this mug too. I decided to change a little a front by placing a cameo theme. Before I have applied a layer of a primer and later several layers of white paint . Later I have applied some glue on a surface of a mug and I put a cameo theme. In this way I have a striped mug with cameo theme. :)

A box completely decorated by me. Previously it had a green color and brown elements, visible on a photo, had a color of steel. I used a decoupage technique to decorate a box. I also put some decorative, little gems on the edges. Finally I added a creamy ribbon.
